The 2019 edition of the Bungou Stray Dogs Rolling Remix is here! In this event participants play a game of telephone with a starting fic.
Please read this post carefully before signing up. The mod can be contacted through Dreamwidth (anonymous comments enabled in this community) or through bsdrollingremix@gmail.com.

No 2020 Round

Due to increasing demands on my time, I unfortunately will not be able to run this event in 2020.
I've been surprised at the increase in community subscribers over recent months, and it's a difficult decision to make. If there is enough interest and if my schedule permits, I would be happy to run this event in 2021 (although I will not be able to confirm anything until closer to the time!).
A giant thank you to everyone for making the past two iterations of this event so wonderful, whether it be through writing, reading, guessing, or spreading the word! I've had such a lovely time coordinating this with you all, and I hope you've enjoyed taking part as well.
I hope you're all well despite the strange new reality that we find ourselves in.

If you'd like to, you can edit in a remix title, promote your work on your social media accounts, or link your remix to the preceding fic (if applicable!).
To link your fic, head to its 'Edit Work' page. Under the 'Associations' section, tick the 'This work is a remix...' box, and add in the URL of the fic you remixed.
If someone has linked their fic to your fic, a link will only show from your fic if you approve it. You can do this through the 'Related Works' tab at the bottom of your AO3 dashboard.

Go forth and enjoy! Read through the collection, comment on works, and comment your author and order guesses on this post. No need to try for every single story — feel free to leave your guesses for only a couple, if you like. :D
You don't need a Dreamwidth account to comment here, although you can certainly comment under an account if you wish to, for potential future bragging rights. ;) Of course, the guessing is by no means compulsory — it's just a bit of fun!

Clarification post #1

1) Due to the nature of this event, I unfortunately cannot take into account personal preferences regarding the kind of fic that you will eventually be sent to remix. This is because I will be organizing the writing order before the schedule is sent out on August 23, which means that I won't know what kind of fic the writer before you will end up writing.
Therefore please be prepared to remix anything that doesn't contain rape/non-con, major character death, graphic torture, or sex involving characters under the age of sixteen (as per rule #6). If you've signed up but feel that you will be unable to do this, please kindly email bsdrollingremix@gmail.com to drop out.
2) The sign-up form has been amended with an additional question about whether you are above or below 18 years of age. This is to ensure that inappropriate material will not be inadvertently sent to minors, as NSFW fic is permitted in this event. If you have already signed up, please expect an email from me shortly requesting this information.

If there are any changes in the circumstances of other participants, I might have to ask you to take your turn earlier than assigned. I'll be taking into account the periods during which you've indicated that you can't write, and you'll always have the opportunity to decline.
Finally, if you might be interested in taking more than one turn, drop me a note about this on the last question of the sign-up form. It's something that I think would be fun, but its feasibility will be dependent on the final number of participants.
